Be alive not mechanical.
Mindfulness is more than sitting still in a 20 minute meditation. Find out how to avoid the inner conflict coming from the difference between expectation (I should be calm) and reality (I am not calm). Find inner peace that it is ok with not being ok from time to time. When we explore mindfulness, it is helpful to turn to the word „awareness“. Taking a closer look at what awareness really means, we can understand and embrace the abundance of nurturing qualities that awareness brings into our life.
